Nintendo 3DS: Hollywood Film Studios “Intensely Interested” In The Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo 3DS: Hollywood Film Studios “Intensely Interested” In The Nintendo 3DS

Major Hollywood film studios are “intensely interested” in the forthcoming R4 3DS according to Nintendo president Satoru Iwata.
“People making 3D content today are having trouble because of a lack of output,” he explained. “There may be an outlet at movie theaters, but not in televisions at home. While 3D televisions are on sale, I don’t think 3D televisions requiring the use of special glasses will catch on that quickly.
“As a matter of fact, when we show Nintendo 3DS to people in Hollywood, they’re intensely interested. I think lots of people would be happy if they could watch things like 3D movie trailers on their Nintendo 3DS.”

Nintendo 3DS: Nintendo Says 3DS Will Take 3D Mainstream

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fil-Aime has told the New York Times that he expects the Nintendo 3DS to become first mass-market 3D device.
“Consumers have a limited amount of time every day to invest in entertainment,” he said. “Therefore we’ve got to bring out more compelling entertainment experiences than what others are doing.”
“Right now, 3-D is not mass-market. In our view, Nintendo 3DS will be the first mass-market 3-D device.”
The company revealed today that the Nintendo 3DS would go on sale in the United States on the 27th March for $250 whilst Nintendo of Europe revealed that they’re launching it on March 25th for roughly £230.

How to Choose your Flashcards

A Nintendo DS adapter, like the ones sold on R4igoldpro.com, is a simple cartridge that is the same size as a regular Nintendo DS cartridge. However, they tend to have a small slot on the back of them for what is called a Micro-SD card, which is blank memory (much like a floppy/CD/etc.).
It can be used to turn your Nintendo DS console into a lot more than just a games playing machine. Developers have written homebrew (self-programmed) software so that people can use their Nintendo DS consoles to browse the internet, play original games, and much more! You can also use a DS adapter to listen to music, and even play movies (although only in .dpg format)!
Finally, you can also use your DS adapter to back up copies of Nintendo games you already own. Why bring 25 cartridges with you on holiday when you can have them on one card ?
This page now will help you to get detailed idea on which flashcard you will buy for your console.
1. Which Nintendo portable console do you have ?
- Nintendo DS, DS Lite, DSi, DSi XL / LL, 3DS, 3DS XL / LL

2. Which system version is your console in ?
DSi or DSi XL/LL - Ver 1.3, Ver 1.4, Ver 1.4.1, Ver 1.4.2, Ver 1.4.3, Ver 1.4.4, Ver 1.4.5
3DS - Ver 1.0.0-0, 1.0.0-1, 2.0.0-2, 2.1.0-3, 2.1.0-4, 2.2.0-4,  3.0.0-5, 3.0.0-6, 4.0.0-7, 4.1.0-8, 4.2.0-9, 4.3.0-10, 4.4.0-10, 4.5.0-10, 5.0.0-11, 5.1.0-11, 6.0.0-11, 6.0.0-11, 6.1.0-11, 6.1.0-12, 6.2.0-12, 6.3.0-12
3DS XL / LL - Ver 4.1.0-8, 4.2.0-9, 4.3.0-10, 4.4.0-10, 4.5.0-10, 5.0.0-11, 5.1.0-11, 6.0.0-11, 6.1.0-12, 6.2.0-12, 6.3.0-12

Note:
No system version update for DS and DS Lite now.
If flashcard is compatible with higher version, it surely is also compatible with lower system versions. For example, if R4i gold works on DSi Ver 1.4.4, this card can also works fine on Ver 1.3, 1.4, 1.4.1, 1.4.2 and 1.4.3.

3. Is there flashcard compatibility difference for consoles from different zones/region ?
No such difference. For example, if R4i Gold 3DS card works fine on 3DS Ver 6.3.0-x, it can work on 3DS Ver 6.3.0-11U, 6.3.0-12U, 6.3.0-12E, 6.3.0-12J. (U - American version, E - European, A - Asian, J - Japanese version)

4. Why do I need a recordable flashcard with firmware upgrade ?
Nintendo updates console system every other several months, which will block your flashcards, and flashcard manufactures do their own firmware upgrade to get their flashcards unblocked. And firmware upgrade are done to recordable chips. If your card is not recordable, you can not use that card once your console gets system updated. If Nintendo releases a newer firmware, do NOT upgrade to this firmware unless you're 100% sure the card will be compatible.

5. What is benefit of Firmware Writer ?
Once you have your console system updated and it blocks your flashcard, the firmware writer can help you to have your flashcard firmware updated directly on a computer. And firmware update gets free from your console. You do not need to get another console to have your card updated now.

6. Except the compatibility, What is most important to choose flashcard ?
Kernel is leading the first and there list out the most popular below.
YSMenu, AKAIO, Wood R4, SuperCard

7. What advantages would be there if order from R4igoldpro.com ?
